The spoofs, hoaxes, shams, dupes, pranks or ruses are Live Wires' raison d'être! The creative juices flow and the acting chops are called into full force. They are performed lovingly and we love doing them! Indelibly imprinted on the recipients' memories, they are the source of great amusement and the fodder of great stories to be told and retold. In concert with the warmth and care manifested by this company and its talent, we do not perform any subterfuge that would incur emotional or physical harm of any kind. The point is to bring humor, surprise and a positive theatrical experience to our spectators.

You may choose one of our classic spoofs, i.e., the Bumbling Waitperson, the Unraveling Job Applicant, the Smitten Customer, the Cop, the Fireman, the TV Producer, the Bum or Baglady, the Barfly, the Door-to-Door Evangelist, the Building or Liquor Board Inspector, the Unwelcome Houseguest, the Repairman, the Ill-Mannered Golfer, the Private Detective -- you name it, we do it -- or you may concoct and design a new ruse with us. The possibilities are endless. Single performers or groups of performers enact real-life, mind-blowing situations and experiences that astound, amaze and bamboozle your friends and associates.
